Outside the plan
Two things are not covered by plan entitlement, and both are stated here rather than discovered later.
Design Studio generation Paid add-on
The Design Studio workspace is part of the product. Generating images and video consumes credits, and plans differ in the AI capacity they include. Nothing here is described as unlimited.
Mudo Connect In pilot
The Archicad bridge is running with a small number of invited practices. It is not part of standard plan entitlement on any tier, and access is by request.
Every tier is priced per practice rather than per seat. That is a commercial decision, not a packaging trick: software that coordinates a studio should not charge more the more of the studio can see it.
Common questions
- Is Mudo priced per user?
- No. Every tier is priced per practice. Adding a graduate, a part-time technician or your bookkeeper does not change the bill, which means the whole studio can be in the system rather than only the people who could be justified against a seat cost.
- Is the free tier a trial?
- No. Starter is a permanently free plan covering one user, two projects and 1GB of storage. There is no countdown and no card required. It is intended to be enough to run a real project and find out whether the model matches how your practice works.
- What currency are prices in?
- Australian dollars. Mudo is made in Sydney and publishes one set of prices in AUD. The application supports other currencies for a practice's own records, but the published price list is AUD and is shown as such rather than converted.
- What is not included in a plan?
- Two things. Image and video generation in Design Studio consumes credits, and plans differ in the AI capacity included. Mudo Connect, the Archicad bridge, is in pilot and is not part of standard plan entitlement. Access is by request.
- What happens if we outgrow a tier?
- The limits that differ between tiers are people, projects and storage. Moving up a tier raises all three. Studio removes the people and project limits entirely and raises storage to 200GB.
